MATEX ICON DOUBLE JACKET HOSE, 800 PSI
 We stock and sell
Matex brand, double jacketed, 800 pound test fire hose in the following sizes: 1-1/2", 1-3/4", 2-1/2", and 3". You can
rest assured our hose will be up to the task for many years to come.
Applications for this hose are attack and CAFS lines.
All double jacketed hose we stock is tested by the
manufacturer to 800 PSI and requires a 400 PSI service test. Both jackets
are made of polyester material which means it will not have to be dried after
every use to prevent mold and mildew. The liner is made from EPDM rubber.

- Ring spun polyester warp yarns
are combined with filament polyester filler yarns.
- Available either plain/uncoated “natural”
white, or with optional
emulplast polyseel
high-performance polyurethane coating applied to seal
each and every fiber in the bundle, further improving the abrasion resistance,
reducing moisture and chemical absorption, and providing vivid color-coded
identification.
- The EPDM rubber lining is unaffected by Ozone
deterioration and creates an extremely smooth waterway surface, thereby
reducing friction loss and improving nozzle performance.
- The vulcanized adhesion system,
which creates both a mechanical and chemical bond between the EPDM lining and
the inner jacket, eliminates the possibility of
delamination as
is experienced with competitive adhesive bonded rubber lined constructions.
- Both the hose and couplings are Made in the USA and are fully
NFPA 1961 compliant.
